Research Mentorship Program (RMP) is a highly competitive, six-week summer program that engages qualified and talented high school students from all over the world in interdisciplinary and hands-on research. It will either be a rejection or acceptance, very rarely will it be a waitlist. *Note: UCSB RMP is extremely competitive to get into. Typically the acceptance rate is between 6-8% but last year it dropped to ~4%. If I had to rank this program, I would say it’s around the same caliber as BU RISE. However, the acceptance rate is notoriously low ...The UCSB research programs are quite good. I’m not familiar with the Michigan Math program, probably only worth it if you’re super interested in UMich. Wtf is that SSP ripoff at the end lol. Rule of thumb if they do need based financial aid then they worth it. I know RMP is worth.
