This is a major issue with HDMI cables on the VZ 1100 server/box. Fix is to press the hold button on the remote control then the play button which is immediately above it. This corrects the delay on the sound. There is also a second temporary fix for starting the picture. This involves pressing and holding the “lit” power button on the 1100 ...Channel 618 still freezes, as do several others in the 600's. Sometimes it's only 1 set, sometimes 2, and sometimes all 3 freeze. SNR is 23+ on all. The fix has been to change channel, then change back. We’re on vacation. I have the FIOS app on my iPhone & iPad. I want to watch MSNBC programs but the only option on my app selections is “record” or “watch on tv”. We do not have a FIOS settop box here. Can anyone explain why - without engaging in any politically-charged arguments - MSNBC is only carried in "selected areas" on the Verizon FiOS channel lineup in New York?
