My thoughts would be to have a crank checked to the nth degree for propersizing along with the rods. The supercharged Buick 3800 is now common in wrecking yards for just a few bucks. It would be a wonderful alternative to all the SBC engines used in hot rods everywhere if someone like yourself could explain how a Buick 3800 could be installed in a RWD configuration using production GM parts where possible.
