Blinking light on soundbar. I have a samsung Q900A sound bar and recently it has been blinking a small dot of white light when the tv is off. looks like this. When I turn the tv on the screen shows a mute icon. I have to increase vol to unmute it and somehow the blinking light also disappears.The Soundbar lights will flash and the Soundbar will update. This may take anywhere from 1-2 minutes to complete. Once the update is complete the Soundbar LEDs will blink and the thumb drive can be removed. To verify the version of firmware on your Soundbar, press and hold the Volume + and Volume - on the sound bar for 5 seconds.
