Pre-Physical Therapy. Physical Therapists are healthcare professionals who provide evaluation, assessment, and treatment of individuals with limitations in functional mobility. Physical Therapists assess the impaired mobility, frequently in collaboration with other medical professionals, and develop a personalized treatment plan.UNLV physical therapy students are helping to monitor participants and record changes in how they're adapting and improving to the exercises, gaining experience with telehealth. Eventually, students will be able to use that data in their own research papers. The early results have been encouraging.
