It also is considered one of the three most procedural subspecialties in IM (sharing the honor with GI and Pulmonary/critical care). Cardiology is a 3 year fellowship, with at least 2 years of required clinical training time.Clinical cardiology: the Griffin manual I found to be an excellent resource. Otherwise the obvious textbook is Braunwald’s but it’s also huge and dense and not a quick light read. Mayo has great review videos. Know all the guideline documents as above poster said.
