These numbers are from the front pad. 21B650536 K04 17 CTL. This block is a 2 bolt main and has the 3970010 cast in the back of the block then up above that is K 9 cast into the block. I looked up the head casting numbers 3998920 and it said they are 72-73 350. The intake valves are big on these heads. The #3970010 casting block is the most common four-inch bore block ever made. It comes from a 350 and likely has a forged steel crank, but the heads are terrible for performance improvements. The design uses 1.72-inch intake valves, measuring out to around 8.2:1 when appropriately installed.

The block number - in this case 3970010 - is not the same as the block alloy casting codes (010, 020) that show alloy content and are cast inside the timing cover area on the front of the block.
